(Lesser Fellpools are from the game Star Ocean.)
With Corona's outburst came a bunch of grunts, as three of the BLOOD officers tried to restrain her. The masked BLOOD approached, showing no outward response to her aggravation.
But he did raise his foot.
"Shut up." Slamming his foot into Corona's face, whomever was in the mask was able to knock the Keyblade Wielder unconscious.
The armored enigma noticed Byron try and break free, as if he were planning to assist Corona in some way. He smirked underneath his helmet.
"Might as well put you to sleep as well." Before Byron could do anything, he was backhanded by the enigma's armored hand and everything blacked out...
- - -
"RISE AND SHINE, DIRTBAGS!!!" Gun shots followed the order, which made Byron come to life.
Though it wasn't what he was expecting; he was in a BLOOD Facility Prison Cell. He was with several others who looked as though they had been through hell and back. Byron cast his gaze down the isle to see three men, BLOOD officers, walking toward them. The one in the front had fired a gun into the ceiling to get the prisoners up and about.
The street rat got to his feet and approached the laser cell bars, but didn't dare to touch them. He found that was probably not possible, since his hands were restrained behind his back with plasma cuffs. And to make things worse, he didn't even see Corona or Sophia in his cell.
"Back to doing the solo thing." He murmured.

(Which star ocean? i don't remember any in 3 and i'm only through the 2nd disc of last hope. d**n horde of phantoms.)
Corona looked at her shackles, unsurprised by the kind. It was meant to hold her keyblade abilities down. "Well this bites."
The shot rebuttle didn't quite startle her. She had heard worse and at much closer range with more intent than just trying to wake people up. However, she didn't get up.

(Star Ocean: Last Hope. Meracle is a Lesser Fellpool.)
The BLOOD officers snickered at the faces of their prisoners; the fright they were able to create. Byron had a sense of what exactly BLOOD officers enjoyed. Looking around once more, he finally was able to spot Corona; but still no Sophia. It was bad enough he had already made a promise to her to help her get home....
...But who ever kept promises.
"Which one of you worthless pieces of trash will be causing problems for us today?" Asked one, stopping before one of the cells just as the laser prison bars dissipated. The officer snatched a middle aged man out, holding the gun to his face. "Will it be you!"
The man was nearly about to piss his pants. "N-No sir!"
The BLOOD officer pushed the man back into the cell, making him stumble and fall into three others. "Good." He walked a little further before spotting Byron. "Well, well. Byron Blitz, once again you grace our presence by being in these cells. What was it this time? Mouthing off to a BLOOD official?"
"Tch." Byron rolled his eyes before the man yanked him out, holding the gun to his face as well. "Go ahead and do it. It'd be a better gift than serving you pieces of sh*t."
"Oh?" The BLOOD officer pressed the gun against Byron's right cheek. "You know we aren't allow to kill of prisoners freely. They have to be...troublesome, like you. I'd love to end it right here for you, Blitz."
Byron showed no fear of the gun, but he sure as hell didn't want to be shot. "Then allow me to give you some trouble."
The street rat suddenly pushed forward, headbutting the officer and making him stumble back. He quickly turned and kicked the second officer right into the third. With that done, Byron made a mad sprint down the isle.
The officers scrambled to their feet. "Ge-get those d**n cell bars back up!! And find that d**n fool!!"
Byron passed right by Corona's cell, passing a look her way. "Find the girl!" He yelled, before continuing on.

"Okay." Corona said as she crouched and jumped, her shackles and hands right in front of her than behind. The shackles were meant to harness her like a dog but even dogs pulled on their leashes.
And not all leashes were full proof.
Corona kicked into the cell's bars and with enough force, broke away and started racing around, dodging the soldiers when possible as she looked for Sophia. The shackles glowed everytime she tried to break them with her keyblade summon.
'Okay, calm down...find Sophia. Sophia...Sophia...Sophia.' Her green blue eyes seemed to haze over but her sprint had never been faster. She knew exactly where Sophia was...and d**n whoever was the unlucky bastard who got in her way.

"General Staks, sir?" The BLOOD officer who entered seemed panicked, which didn't really surprise the armored figure. Sophia was sitting at a table, bound to it by the same shackles as the prisoners.
The room was much more homey than others seen around the BLOOD building. Several cushioned couches, a fine table with accompanying chairs, very elegant portraits hanging from the walls, deep crimson carpet; the works.
"What is it?" The armored enigma, General Staks, resounded with a sigh.
The officer saluted before speaking further. "There's been a jailbreak, sir! It's Byron Blitz, the boy from the streets."
"You fools are pathetic. You can't even keep the cell room vacant of pestering issues?" The General returned his attention back to Sophia. "Send the Commander after him. Make sure he's caught. If not caught, then killed."
"Yes sir!"
- - -
Byron bolted around a corner, only to be confronted by more officers. They opened fire without hesitation and he was forced to turn around and retreat down another hall. He found an open room and slipped inside, hopefully without anyone noticing.
Pressing himself against the door, he looked down at himself; he still had his equipment. The only problem was the shackles; they made his glove and vest useless.
"Just have to get this sh*t off and I can work my way out of here."

Corona stopped about two levels down from the meeting room Sophia was in. She dropped the soldier she had fought against and incapacitated while still shackled. Her eyes still had a bit of haze but not so much.
"Forces are increasing...which means I am d**n close." she muttered. It was quiet and she took the moment to try and break free. Her hands curled into fists as sh tried to break the shackles again, glowing every time she forced them away. "d**n nutstake mushrooms. If I was a lion, this wouldn't be a problem I could-"
A minute later, Corona climbed the final stairs, her eyes on the door containing the General and Sophia. She ducked behind a wall as soldiers ran past, probably heading to quiet the cells or quiet Byron...her bet was on Byron.
Once they were past she headed for the office and kicked it open, seeing Sophia and the General. "Give me Sophia and give me your life, bastard."

General Staks turned around again, this time sighing heavily underneath his helmet. "You escaped too? Security must not be efficient enough."
"Corona, help me!" Sophia wiggled in the chair she was bound to.
Staks folded his arms. "There was no record of you ever on Roak, Keybearer. So how is it that you know this girl? Don't tell me you're trying to return glory to the name of all Keyblade Wielders. That simply won't do."

"For the record, High Charity has the best security in the universe. And also, I made a promise to this girl but I have been to Roak." Corona answered like she not trying to kill him by looks alone.
"What glory? I'm still shackled and I still kicked the crap out of your soldiers WITHOUT my keyblade." Corona said as she showed him her wrists. "Now, are you going to hand her over or are we going to dance?"

(I don't have a job anymore.)
"Then it's unfortunate that High Charity was destroyed some time ago." The General said, turning his back to Corona. However, he did begin to clap. "It's good you can fight without your Keyblade. You'd be pathetic if you couldn't. I'm not surprised you could do so much against a bunch of Privates."
Sophia continued to struggle, but she wasn't breaking free. Even she knew that.
"You decide to help one girl when so many need assistance in this city. You're right to ask "what glory"." The General rested his hands on the table as he leaned on it. "I don't plan to hand the girl over, so start to Tango is you have to."
"Corona..." Sophia's eyes were pleading.

(Oh, sorry. probably nice...sleeping in. i was told to not sleep.)
"You can't save them all." Corona said. "And you can't change the universe without getting your hands dirty either." She gave Sophia a reassuring look before she lunged for the General.
She jumped and swung her legs around into a spinning kick, directed towards his head.

(Nah, I still have classes to worry about. Plus, with a wonderful girlfriend, a living room wrecking puppy, and an apartment, I wouldn't have time.)
"I couldn't agree more." The General lifted his arm and caught Corona's foot in the palm of his hand. He tossed her onto the table in front of him, shattering the fine wood.
"Oh no!" Sophia gasped.
"Oh no is right. My table is destroyed now." The General sounded disappointed. "I thought it would be a bit more sturdier. Such expensive items shouldn't be so...fragile." He knelt down while Corona was still a bit stunned and unshackled her wrists, allowing the plasma on the cuffs to disappear and the cuffs to fall lifelessly.
"There you are. I'd rather not have you thinking you "could of done better" if your hands weren't restrained." The General said, taking a step back.

(True enough. i usually have alot of time on my hands...most of which is spent reading or video games, sometimes. school's over until january for me. btw, what kind of dog is Rilo? I saw pics and i feel like the breed is staring at me in the face but I can't remember! XD how old is he now?)
"Then I'll make sure my hands are choking the life out of you..." Corona promised as she flipped up to get a little distance. Her armor then covered her form in almost sky blue and electrum armor, the majority of her helmet staring at him like a teardrop mirror.
Taking a few seconds of staring down, she attacked.
"Blizzard!" The icy spell shot from her hand with quickness, coating the floor with frost and bringing the temperature nearly to zero. However, her real target was strapped to a couch and with a flick of her keyblade, she leapt and slashed the bindings off, grabbing Sophia and tumbling behind the couch.

(He's a Pitbull, four months now. A true fat*ss. lol)
Sophia grinned at the glimmer of hope, which was almost too good to be true. It was too good to be true. General Staks cut into Corona's little stunt after she fired her Blizzard spell; he managed to get a tight hold on Corona's Keyblade before it actually got to Sophia's cuffs.
"Exceptional display of effort..." He pulled the Keyblade close and elbowed Corona in the chest of her armor, the force enough to force her to let go of her Keyblade and send her toward the wall. He tossed her Keyblade at her feet. "...not skill."

(Younger than our new westie, she's eleven months. pit Bull, really, wow, still tearing up the furniture?)
"Shut up." Corona replied as she lunged for her keyblade and slammed it into the General's shoulder, firing another blizzard as she flipped over and punched into his other shoulder, bring her keyblade around to slash, mising but the momentum was there.
Clang!
She let go of her keyblade while it was still spinning and grabbed the keychain, the keyblade becoming a mace as it hit the General once more.
(How do you like Reach?)

(Nah, just crap we leave around the apartment when we leave him out alone. He gets mad and starts tearing up stuff.)
(It's a straight game. Much better than Halo. Honestly, I've never even touched Halo or Halo 2, I don't even know the entire story of it.)
The General was quick on his feet, able to black the Keyblade from hitting his shoulder. He avoided the spell by a hair and caught Corona's fist, only to release it when she swung her Keyblade and missed.
"You're well-trained." The General slipped out of the range of the Keyblade, got under Corona's guard, and delivered a clean punch to her midsection.
The room rattled with the blow, the chair Sophia was sitting in beginning to shake a bit from it. The lights flickered on an off in the silence that now swept through the General's homey office. Then came the effects of the punch; the cracking of armor and a force that sent Corona sliding back.
"Well versed in your own art of fighting. Extraordinary, I suppose." The General straightened his form, dusting his hands. "Still not enough. And here, I thought you wanted to dance."

(He needs a chew tory or a treat ball. Coconut and Kippy were the same way as puppies. filling a chew toy with treats and they roll it around until all the treats roll out. lol) (Halo 1 blew my mind away and it was my first FPS. Halo 2 is my favorite and probably the most fun in my opinion. Halo 3 concluded the story nicely and had some great levels, tha Ark being my favorite. Halo Reach was like everything together and ODST was a nice trasition from invicible spartan to regular soldier. if you played the others, maybe you'd like it more. ...course, the AI's are idiots in everything besides Halo 2) The force of his punch stung but Corona didn't dwell on it, she didn't need to. Pain was apart of the fight. Dwelling would leave you open. "And you're all about countering." Corona said. He was countering her moves, defensive. Her keyblade twirled around in her grip and she put both hands on it. He was toying with her and either defending Sophia or just toying with her. She immediately changed her style from reverse and quick to powerful and slash. She brought her keyblade down, hit, brought it back and thrust, spinning on her heel to slam the keyblade into his side. Her combo complete, she threw her hands out and used a Thunder spell that took up the entire room.

(No, it has nothing to do with a chew toy. I'm really close to my dog, and when I start to leave the house, he follows. And when I don't let him out and he sits there and watches me, what do you think happens? He gets mad and starts wrecking havoc. Then, when I get back, he's all happy like he hasn't done anything. It's cute, but troublesome.)
(I like Halo already, it's straight. Playing Reach, I've been given a new perspective that I can use in writing; the more professional approach. When I played it, I kinda thought about Time Immemorial.)
The Thunder spell didn't do much, if not anything at all. The General launched himself right through it, the Thunder spell just dramatizing his movements. His came first, but didn't hit it's target. Instead, it was a mock punch, which was immediately followed by a heavy kick to Corona's side.
Causing a stagger was the General's true intention; he moved forward with that, punching Corona twice in her helmet and causing cracks. Jumping, he spun in the air and planted his foot into her chest, bypassing her defense and blasting her right through the door she had entered in.
"Now you've ruined my office." The General said, taking a look at the static that was crackling around the area. Even Sophia had been hit by it; she was barely managing to keep consciousness now.

Clang!Something sharp and icy cut into the General's side. It tore through the armor and skin just by its speed alone as it was caught by its handle by its owner. "And now I've cut into your side." Corona said as she grasped her secondary keyblade, the blade gold with a silver handle, the keychain gold with a familiar symbol at the end. She lunged for the injured General and assaulted him with two keyblade, slashing back and forth. Bringing them both around and then slamming them both into his cut side and into the wall of his office. Once he was stunned, she rushed to Sophia and cut her bonds, swallowing the cooper taste in her mouth from the General's previous attack. She holstered the girl over her shoulder and with her hands free of keyblades, a fire spell hit the wall and she jumped outside. (Seperation anxiety, Coconut has that too. its sweet, sometimes. is he potty trained?) (Halo and Star Ocean were my biggest inspirations for TI. While I love the trilogy, Reach brought in so much backstory and characters...i'm not going to spoil. any favorites in Reach so far? how far are you?)

The General stopped the assault before it could even be deemed as such. He blocked and dodged her duel-blade assault with mastery and skill that it made Corona seem like she was a mere child throwing a temper tantrum.
"You've hardly done a thing." The cut in the General's side was barely armor thick; it hadn't even grazed his skin. It wouldn't, certainly not during this match. The blow into the same area didn't do much either, aside from giving him some entertainment. It hardly pushed him back five feet.
He smiled under his helmet and watched Corona free Sophia and flee through the hole in the wall. He followed to the edge of it, placing his hands behind his back as he watch the two fall.
"It's been a pleasure, Keyblade Wielder." He said loud enough for her to hear.
- - -
Two floors below, lights flickered in the strange static surge created by Byron's vest. He dove around a corner, trying to soothe his heavy panting in order to hear his pursuer. Normally, he would of dealt with them...they they were simply BLOOD officers. But his pursuer wasn't; it was the same individual who had broken through the Highwind's windshield and had taken out himself and Corona.
"I suppose it's now or never." Byron flexed his gloved hand, making sure it was fully-functional.
Turning the corner, he prepared himself for an offensive lunge only to be stopped by a jab in the upper chest, which blew him into the wall. His pursuer, the masked BLOOD, moved for another blow; a kick. Byron barely got himself out of the stun he was in and avoided the kick, which created a large hole in the wall.
Byron got to his feet and threw a sloppy punch, which was easily caught by the masked enigma. The electrifying effects of the glove had no effect, the sparks crackling around the enigma's arm. Byron couldn't fathom why his glove didn't work, he didn't even have time. The enigma's punch to his gut forced the air out of his lungs and made him grasp his abdomen, while straining to free his hand from the masked enigma's grasp.
"d**n...it...."

Corona summoned her Glider, board style and air glided down, holding onto Sophia. She heard the General's words but she didn't care. She lost anyway...she knew that.
Her mind drifted to Byron, whether or not to go see if he was needing assistance...Sophia was already shocked by her spell but...
She braked near the ground and set Sophia down, a light Cure gracing her. "Hey, Sophia, you alright?"
